The privacy policy outlined below applies to all current and former Test Capacity Advisory Board (TCAB) members.
INFORMATION COLLECTION
The TCAB collects a minimal set
of personal and company information (e.g. name, title, company, email address,
etc.) during the application process. We will also
collect some additional information when an applicant has been approved as a board
member.
When using the TCAB website as a board member, we will collect business information
necessary to deliver the specific service(s) you are using. Specifically for TCAB members, we
will collect your responses to survey questions.
Our site also utilizes a standard web technology called cookies to collect information
(e.g. date, time, pages viewed, etc.) related to how our website is used.
INFORMATION USAGE
The TCAB will not sell, rent, trade, or lease your information to others unless
we have requested and have received your permission, or are required to disclose
it by law.
The company name of each TCAB member will be published on selected
website pages and promotional materials to illustrate the interest and value of
a broad nexus of stakeholders. TCAB members have the opportunity to specify whether
or not their name and title are also published.
Information entered during the login process is used to restrict access to only
the pages, services, and data for which the user logging in is authorized. Any information
provided, viewed, or generated while logged into this secure environment remains
restricted to being accessed by only the authorized owner(s) unless otherwise tagged
with owner-specified sharing attributes.
Survey information provided by TCAB members is similarly kept confidential to each
member, being published only to registered TCAB members on an aggregate basis with
specific respondent associations removed.
We will sometimes use your contact information to send you certain mandatory service
communications such as registration authentication, technical service information,
service updates, and security announcements. Users will have the ability through
their profile and/or services settings to control all non-critical communications.
Finally, "cookies" and other similar Web tools are used to enhance your experience
at our website. If you do not wish to transmit "cookie" information, you may turn
off the cookie function in your web browser.
DATA PROTECTION
The TCAB is committed to ensuring the security of your information. We use industry-standard
processes such as encryption to ensure that sensitive data are protected while transmitted
to/from the TCAB website. The web server architecture will be designed to
protect client data in a database that will use an SQL server security model and
reside behind a firewall, eliminating direct access by the outside world. There
are also appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to prevent
loss or unauthorized use of sensitive information.
EXTERNAL LINKS
Websites operated by our business partners or other third parties may provide links
to, or may be accessed from, the TCAB website. We do not make any representations
or warranties about any such websites. They are independent from us and we have
no control over, or responsibility for, their information or activities.
CONSENT
By using the TCAB website or services, you consent to the collection and use
of personal and business information as outlined in the policy described here. Information
may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which the
TCAB or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities, and by using
the TCAB website or services, you consent to any such transfer of information
outside of your country.
